Read and Write Implementation - Demo class - group lesson

The observed lesson included a comprehension skills activity - a story about a most unusual object.
Read as writers - Students discussed the purpose of a topic sentence and supporting details. Write as readers. Students were to write a descriptive paragraph describing their own most unusual object. Assistive technology was embedded in this lesson.
The lesson was taught on the interactive white board. Read and Write Gold supported students to listen to the story out loud. Here are some clips of the lesson.
